In an interview with Sky Sport 24, Claudio Ranieri was asked regarding his future. The Italian owners of Watford, the Pozzo family are without a coach for the coming season. Ranieri responded to a question if he was being considered by them: "Watford? They have not contacted me." Ranieri also spoke about the Champions League final featuring Juventus: "In Cardiff it will be a great match, as an Italian I hope that it turns well. It would be wonderful, both for the great Juventus organization as well as for their great players" And Ranieri commented on an Italian legend, Totti: "Everyone has said he'll retire, he hasn't said as much. We'll see if he plays against Genoa, I don't think Spalletti will play him if he isn't sure: second place comes first, then Francesco."
