Claudio Ranieri's championship season with Leicester City last year was the sporting story of a lifetime, but to some quickly became a memory. The Premier League club's struggles this year cost Ranieri his job: the Italian coach was sacked in February. And according to many reports, the reason behind it was the Leicester City players themselves. But not so, according to Ranieri, who gave an interview to Sky Sports: "I refuse to believe that my players assassinated me. No, no, no... Maybe there was someone out for me, I had some problems the year before, but then we won the title. Maybe this year, when we started losing, those people started pushing a bit more."
