Ranieri: "Juventus is a war machine. Roma-Liverpool? The Roma we've seen against Barcelona should not be afraid about the Reds"

His mind's now fully set on Ligue 1, where his Nantes is after a Europa League spot but Claudio Ranieri doesn't lose an occasion to talk about Italian football as he speaks about a few interesting things in an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport: from the Champions League race: "Knowing the mentality, Juventus won't budge until the maths will say it's over. Juve deserve a lot of credits. One of them is that it's a war machine, with the ability to resolve their problems privately. The penalty in Madrid? You could have given it or not. It wasn't 100% sure. I've seen worse".

"What did Napoli miss? They're having a great season. The problem is Juve. The Champions League race? It'll be splendid. The direct game between Lazio and Inter will be decisive. Inzaghi is working really well while Inter and Milan have invested a lot, but results don't always come for the one who spends money. The Roma-Liverpool game? The Roma we've seen against Barcelona doesn't start as a loser. The Reds are spectacular, but when they play away they aren't unbeatable".

From Roma to Milan, as they are still hoping to get a Champions League spot: "It will be difficult, they have to always win and have other games that go in their way. Gattuso is another one that is doing an amazing work. It's not only about grinta and determination: Milan's playing well. Gattuso has only thought about working and not about what people were saying".

About Nantes: "We've lived a great first part of the season. We've also played better in the second part but winning less. On Friday we're playing the derby, it won't be easy. In may it will be two years since I won with Leicester? I remember the fans' happiness. There are people that come to see our games in Nantes and there are some that still write me beautiful letters".

The full interview is in today's La Gazzetta dello Sport.
