While Milan has been very active in looking for ways to bolster Montella's squad, the future of Gigio Donnarumma continues to be a hot topic especially now that he has just one year left on his contract. Today the keeper's agent, Mino Raiola, spoke to Radio Deejay to address the situation after a lot of recent speculation- there is no meeting scheduled between the parties until Friday so it was important to clear the air in the meantime.
This is what Raiola had to say:"No one ever said that Gigio doesn't wat to extend with Milan. Will he spend a year frozen out and watching games in the stands? I don't think Milan's directors have said that, I just think some people want there to be a war between us and Milan. After the national team, Gigio will go on vacation and we'll see what happens. We're talking to Milan: we'll ponder some things and there will be other things to consider later, but I don't let players leave on a free transfer"
