Raiola: "The real issue with Milan is Mirabelli's project, he should leave Donnarumma alone"

Mino Raiola came to the strong defense of his client Gigio Donnarumma, after a string of incidents have led to more comments making their way into the media. The agent spoke out in a lengthy statement, among the highlights from his missive against Milan's management: "Mirabelli has an issue with me, personally, and he's using Gigio Donnarumma to attack me. This does not involve Gigio at all, he has done nothing wrong and it's unfair that he's being used as a weapon to attack me. In the summer, there were economic and professional offeres the likes of which a footballer would never refuse. But Gigio and his family made a decision with their hearts. And I respected that decision. My concern is only that Gigio be left alone and then, he can play at his best. This should also be Milan's sporting director's priority. And if it isn't, it should be the priority of the owners of Milan, or whoever represents them. This back-and-forth is helping Mirabelli because it distracts from the real issue with Milan: the team he has assembled."
