This season Sampdoria has launched great prospects like Schick and Torreira while Muriel also got his career back on track, but the doria have also gotten some strong performances from veteran Fabio Quagliarella. The Neapolitan striker spoke to Genova paper Secolo XIX about the team's success:"This Samp reminds me of Juventus, Mazzarri's Napoli and the Torino managed by Ventura. Our manager Giampaolo is someone who transmits mental certainty. He's one of those who prepares the matches and says "you'll see it will happen this way" he always supports you. We play well although Schick gets all the attention. But I think of the midfielders who run 12/13 kilometers each match, I get tired just watching them. This is a season that satisfies me and I feel serene helping the young players: I like watching their growth"
