PSG have said goodbye to Mauricio Pochettino as the Argentine coach will no longer sit on the bench of the Parisian club. This was made known by the club on its social media accounts this morning.
PSG have welcomed Cristophe Galtier, former coach of Nice and Lille. The Frenchman will meet Luis Campos, his former Sporting Director and current PSG manager, in Paris. Galtier was unveiled at 2pm in a press conference along with President Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Galtier in the press conference stated “I am determined to make sure that this team is very united, demanding and determined. If any players go outside that framework, they will be removed. In what way? It will remain internal. Not one player will be above what the group must be.”
Regarding speculation about Neymar’s future the new coach in the press conference answered “Neymar is a world class player, one of the best in the world. What coach wouldn't want to have him? I have a very clear idea of what I would expect from him. Obviously I want him to stay”.
