Report by Guglielmo Pacini

In an interview tih Bein Sports, Marco Verratti reveals some of his opinions. First order of business, his critics:

“The critique on my life outside of the pitch? I’ll never understand. When I retire, I certainly won’t miss this aspect of football. Behind a screen or on television, everyone writes what they want. You can criticize my football, you can say I’m bad, or that I’m a problem for PSG. But when you enter in my private life without knowing everything, I won’t accept it”.

“Who would I bring to PSG? Neymar. He is young, and proved himself in the two games we played against Barca. He took a big leap this year, he’s at Messi’s level. The elimination was the biggest disappointment of my career. Nobody expected such a result. I’m angry about it because we were knocked out without us playing our style of play”.
