Neymar future is yet to be written. The Brazilian attacker continues to look further away from Paris Saint-Germain: "The negotiations to take him away from here are more advanced than before", stated Sporting Director Leonardo a few days ago. This was after the 27-year-old did not show up on the first day of the French champions' scheduled gathering and so the club made it clear: no one has to stay in Paris to do them a favor.
Speaking to RMC Sport today, Leonardo returned to speak about Neymar, expressing himself on many topics (including his long injury): "It's all very simple. The player was checked by the best doctors and surgeons in the world at the beginning of the season and his injury was completely resolved."
According to some, Neymar has even been left out of the team, but Leonardo has denied everything: "This is wrong, he was not removed from the group. He is simply following his personalized rehabilitation program. He is a PSG player who still has a three-year contract - we must not forget that. We need to analyze and fix everything before he can play again."
Meanwhile, the fans have lost their patience. At the first match of the season against Nimes at Le Parc des Princes, there were banners and chants against the player. A clear dispute: "He made mistakes I wasn't aware of before. Honestly, I think he's a good guy and he is an extraordinary player on the field".
Finally, he talked about Neymar's future: "There have been negotiations, discussions with some clubs in the last hours. But there is nothing advanced".
