Paris St Germain’s efforts to acquire Luciano Acosta on last day of the transfer window fell short. The Ligue 1 club had decided to invest significantly to acquire the Argentine number ten especially after Neymar’s injury but the parties weren’t able to reach an agreement.
There was distance between the offer and demand on around 1.5 million, the MLS club wanted 13 million while PSG held firm at 11.5 million. Acosta will now stay in North America rather than moving to France
