Prandelli:”The Franchi stadium will embrace Astori’s family in a way that only Florence can”

Back in 2007 the city of Florence embraced Cesare Prandelli after his wife passed away, so the former Fiorentina manager is well aware of what we can expect on Sunday at the Franchi stadium to remember Davide Astori. Prandelli spoke to QN’s microphones to discuss the passing of the viola’s captain:”He was a gentle person and an elegant player that deserves all of our affection. Sunday will be very moving: the Franchi will embrace his daughter, his partner, as well as Davide’s brothers and parents. It’s the type of affection only Firenze can transmit. The players will feel that embrace as if it came from their family members. The Franchi will have a big heart, everyone will understand the love that viola fans have for those who wear the jersey.
