The negotations between Inter and Roma for the Politano-Spinazzola swap deal have reached an impasse as both clubs stand firm in their respective position. The Giallorossi are in fact unwilling to change the agreement that was rreached two days ago and want to sell the player outright or on loan with obligation to buy.
The main obstacle in the path to a positive conclusion to the deal is Spinazzola's conditions. The former Juventus player passed the medical with Inter, however the Nerazzurri asked him to undergo more tests that were supposed to take place at Inter's training facilities this morning. Roma, however, refused to give the green light to additional tests.
For their part, Inter are pondering their options. The Nerazzurri would rather sign the player on loan or on loan with option to buy, without any obligations to make the move permanent at any point of his stay at Inter. In the meanwhile, the players are waiting - Spinazzola in Milan with his agents, Politano in Roma - to understand if the deal will be unlocked or if they will have to go back to their respective clubs on Saturday as the tension between clubs keeps mounting.
