Pochettino: "I'll never coach Barcelona, I am an Espanyol fan"

Much speculation surrounds Barcelona regarding the replacement for Luis Enrique. The coach of the blaugrana has announced that he will step down at the end of the season. Mauricio Pochettino is a name which has been spoken by many, and rumors were fueled after he was spotted with Barcelona's president Bartomeu in a Barcelona bar. "It was a coincidence, I've known him since before he became president of Barcelona. Our children attended the same school. We only spent five minutes together." Tottenham's fans, however, have not been convinced by the claim, so the coach went further, saying: "I am an Espanyol fan, it'd be like if one day Tottenham's president dismissed me and then several years later I became coach of Arsenal. I know it's difficult in football to remain faithful to one's heart and to one's emotions, but for me loyalty is an important thing."
