Miralem Pjanic's transfer to Juventus has been the biggest transfer story in Italy this week. The talented midfielder has an exit clause in his contract with Roma, part of the financial considerations are due to Pjanic once it's exercised, but the player decided to forfeit those funds upfront to facilitate. The giallorossi's director Mauro Baldissoni was on Radio Roma this morning, during the interview he read the letter with which Pjanic informed the club that he wanted to activate the exit clause:
"Roma, 9/06/2016. Respectable AS Roma SpA to the attention of the general director. With this letter I communicate that I want to exercise the right to be transferred to another club, as we previously agreed. I also inform you that I'm willing to work out the 20% that I'm owed from the transfer fee directly with the club that will acquire my sporting rights, in this circumstance I communicate that the club is Juventus"
