Pjaca, Croatia's team doctor:"There's a 45 percent chance he won't go back to what he was"

The recent injury to Marko Pjaca has created a disagreement on the recommended rehabilitation between professor Mariani who is performing the surgery and Croatia's natonal team doctor. This is what Nemec told Croatian site 24 Sata:"I'm concerned about Pjaca because with these surgeries 55% of players return like before whlie 45% don't. The method used by professor Mariani expects a recuperation time of 4/5 months but FIFA recommends 7/8 months. I would never allow the player to return to the pitch in six months, there's a chance the ligament will break again, after three months Pjaca will be able to run forward but not change direction"
