After playing in his last game for New York City FC and retiring as a player, Andrea Pirlo is thinking about his future. The former Juventus and Milam midfielder spoke about his plans to Sky Sport:”I’ll start the course to become a coach in December. Certainly watching the games from the outside is very different than playing in them. But it will be nice and with a different type of adrenaline. It’s a great job and we’ll see if it’s suited to me. Farewell game in Italy? We are thinking about it, we’ll see if we can do it”

Pirlo also discussed the last few years of his career in MLS:”They called me The Maestro? It makes me happy, I heard it in Italy too, but also in the United States were I was welcomed very well, it was nice to hear. I alsways thought of coming here to end my career. I found a strong movement here, where everyone wants to improve. There’s a desire to become a significant league in the world, but time is needed as well as some rule changes”
