The Italian adventure of Matias Mir has begun, the young midfielder has just arrived at Milan's Linate airport accompanied by his agent Sebastian Revetria. The 18-year-old arrives from Peñarol, where he was captain of the youth team, and in the next few hours he will join Parma to finalize the last details fo his move. Tomorrow he is scheduled to take his medicals with the club. Then, he will sign a three-year contract to join Parma.
Here were his first words: "I chose Parma because it was the best option and I am very happy. I haven't yet taken medicals, and now I need to sign a contract, it depends on the medicals. I intend to sign a three-year contract. I am very satisfied."
Mir was born in Las Palmas, Spain, and was raised in Montevideo. He posseses a dual Uruguayan-Spanish nationality.
