Former Rangers defender Bruno Alves has signed a one-year deal with Parma. The Portuguese international is no stranger to Serie A, as he spent the 2016-17 season with Cagliari, appearing 36 times and scoring once. Alves participated in his third World Cup this summer and will join his new team after a few days of vacation. He looks to bring veteran experience and leadership to a recently-promoted Parma squad.
