Negotiations for the return of Mehdi Benatia to Parma were on the verge to be closed, but some obstacles have emerged in the last hours.
Al Duhail, the club owner of the former Roma and Juventus defender, is not willing to sell right now the player: the club would prefer to wait for the club's scheduled matches in the FIFA Club World Cup before selling the player. The negotiations will continue in the next hours trying to reach an agreement for both parts.
