Palermo, Frank Cascio withdraws from consideration to purchase the club

There have been numerous foreign investors purchasing clubs in Italy in recent years. Bologna, Roma, Venezia, Reggina have all been acquired by North American investors and Frank Cascio was hoping to continue the trend with Palermo. But today the Italo-American entrepreneur announced that he has withdrawn from consideration, he issued an official announcement in which he explained he had offered numerous options but that he wasn't able to reach an agreement with president Zamparini. For the time being Palermo will still have an Italian owner.
