Sinisa Andelkovic is a step away from officially joining Padova and bringing salvation to Bisoli's formation. The discussions to acquire the player with Venezia went well and the 32-year-old defender will undergo medical tests tomorrow with his new club. With the signing of Andelkovic, Padova gifted itself a trustworthy and expert central defender. Andelkovic himself could also play a big part in acquiring another player for the club.
The Slovenian defender could play a fundamental role in the discussions to bring Michel Morganella to Padova, as the players are friends and former teammates from their Palermo days. The fullback, freed from the rosanero last March, was then signed by Rapperswil-Jona, a second division Swiss club.
