Nicolas Gaitan is a new Atletico Madrid player. This is the first big deal of this new transfer window for Atletico who have signed Benfica star Nico Gaitan. Here is the official note published by Atletico Madrid on the matter: “Atletico Madrid and Benfica have reached an agreement for the transfer of Nicolas Gaitan to our squad. The Argentine midfielder, who is currently with Argentina in the Copa America, is scheduled to arrive in July to complete all the necessary formalities”.
