Nicola set to have meeting with Genoa to finalize deal: the latest

Davide Nicola is the main candidate to be Thiago Motta's successor at Genoa. The coach is currently on his way to Genova where he will hold a meeting with the rossoblu board later in the evening. The parties will put pen on paper on the deal, after that they had reached an agreement in the past days. Nicola will sign a contract through the end of the season with the option to extend the deal for an additional year should the team avoid relegation this season.
