It has been an intense day for M’Baye Niang as he officially became a Watford player. First a flight to London to sign the contract, then the return to Milan to pack up some stuff. The deal is for a 750 thousand Euro loan with option to buy at 18 million Euros. The option to buy will become an obligation depending on certain conditions. Initially, Niang would have had to score 10 goals for that to happen. However the final agreement is that it will take 8 goals from Niang to trigger Watford’s obligation to buy: A small piece of motivation for the striker to make himself a permanent Watford player.
