Napoli have made a bid in an effort to convince Genoa to sell striker Christian Kouamé. The fee offered was €20 including bonuses, a bid deemed too low by Genoa president Prezoisi. Napoli will continue to negotiate a deal, their objective is to close the deal now for a June move.
Meanwhile, Napoli have identified Chievo's Sofian Kiyine as another option, and like Kouamé, would complete a signing and have him remain for the next six months on loan.Boca Junoirs midfielder Almendra is a deal that could also be completed in synergy with Empoli.
Napoli are also looking at the sales of several players: Marko Rog is a target for Schalke 04, plus Parma, Fiorentina, and Cagliari within Serie A. And Amadou Diawara is being targeted by Wolverhampton and Sevilla.
A possible deal to land Benjamin Pavard from Stuttgart is a complicated one for Napoli. Barcelona have recently become involved, meeting with the player's agents and his attorney to look for an agreement on a transfer in June.
