Napoli, search for Ghoulam’s replacement continues: from Siqueira & Milic to Paletta, the latest

After Faouzi Ghoulam’s second significant knee injury of the season, Napoli are looking for options at left back on the free agent market. While Guilherme Siqueira appeared to be the best option on paper considering his pedigree as a player, there are significant concerns about his phsycal condition since he hasn’t played since April of 2017 and because of problems to his ankle. Of the other players being considered the one in best shape also because of his age is Hrvoje Milic who rescinded his contract with Olympiakos last January. In addition Gabriel Paletta was also offered to the partneopei, but he’s a central defender so not an ideal fit. Napoli continue to ponder options in an effort to replace Ghoulam.
