Napoli, Sarri:”Not qualifying out of the group shouldn’t be seen as failing to reach an objective”

After finishing in third place in their Champions League group, Napoli will now be dropped to the Europa League. After the match against Feyenoord, Maurizio Sarri spoke to Mediaset Premium:”It would have been a good excercise to play without being impacted by City’s result, but that wasn’t the case, we still have room for growth. The Europa League starts for us in a month and a half and we want to honeor it. The loss to Juve can’t take away from our confidence, we have strong players and I think this is just a moment. The schedule penalized us, in the decisive moment we faced City twice. We had our minds elsewhere, but we can’t talk about failing to reach an objective, just because we got out of our group last season doesn’t mean it would happen again this time. We don’t know if Insigne will be available on Sunday, we’ll evaluate his journey of recovery”
