Maurizio Sarri, the coach of Napoli spoke after the team's victorious day in Rome. A 3-0 scoreline led Napoli over Lazio, and further advanced their efforts to nab second place in the table from Roma. The coach's comments to Sky Calcio Club were broadcast after the match: "We have looked to give this team a strong identity, maybe it's been a less versatile team, but we are confident in our identity. We matched points with Juventus in latter part of the season, but I would accept fewer goals, playing this style of football. If we did not play this way personally I would be bored. We took this match as if it were being played at the San Paolo, especially because they played deep and looked to counter-attack. We were able to put together several good moves in this match. Production from the wing? It was expected when you consider our strengths, but still not that predictable. I think that football has many styles: at Empoli they said we played too nice a style to sustain ourselves, but where is it written that playing a poor style wins more points? I think that if we'd played worse, we'd have ended up with a lot fewer points. Insigne or Dybala? I choose Insigne, because he's Neapolitan and Wednesday I saw that he outperformed the Juventus players. Lorenzo is an extraordinary talent, I really love that a Naples-born kid should become the bandiera of Napoli."
