The result for Napoli today was a loss, with Atalanta handing the partenopei their first loss of the campaign. Napoli's coach Sarri gave his post-match thoughts to Sky Sport: "We must get better in away matches, and in these matches where we are facing an aggressive opponent who create 1-on-1 situations. The pitch wasn't great, and we labored in this match. These sorts of matches will always be difficult for us because of how we play. I played two strikers out of desperation -- said Sarri referring to his decision to put Gabbiadini and Milik together towards the end -- I don't like to play like this and we are not set up to play in a 4-4-2. Clearly with practice we will learn how to recharge much earlier, not everyone has much experience in Champions League matches. Today we made many mistakes in possession and especially around goal."
