Napoli pushing to close the deal for Witsel: the latest

Napoli is close to finally landing Witsel. The partenopei have been focused on finding a top notch midfielder, and after the negotiation between Witsel and Everton collapsed, the Belgian midfielder could be arriving in Italy. The negotiation with Zenit continues on the basis of €23 million plus bonuses- the Russian club will also pay Witsel a severance- with wages of €2.7 million net of taxes plus half a million in bonuses on a four year deal with an option for a fifth. Witsel is already in Italy on vacation in Sardinia, the issue of the marketing rights is also being worked- the Belgian player's sponsorship deals ends in January, after that Napoli will receive the rights. The negotiation is ongoing but it's in a good position: Witsel could join Sarri's squad.
