Napoli, president De Laurentiis announces Mertens' extension:"Exit clause valid only abroad"

After Lorenzo Insigne, Napoli has now officially extended Dries Mertens' contract through 2020. The partenopei's president Aurelio De Laurentiis discussed the terms of the Belgian striker's new deal in an interview to Radio Kiss Kiss:"Mertens signed the contract with the clause that he wanted. If he leaves it will be for China or elsewhere, but only abroad. After Higuain, Napoli fans can rest assured that Mertens will only play for Napoli in Italy" Mertens' exit clause of worth €30 million but will be valid beginning only in 2018.
