Bologna's Simone Verdi is a priority for Napoli during January's market, but the young talent is not convinced on leaving his current club yet. Napoli will attempt to contact the player directly to try to convince him, while a fee could be agreed with Bologna for around €18-20m. Politano of Sassuolo, a target of Inter, is another option for Napoli. The partenopei could attempt to land Vrsaljko in June, whom Atletico Madrid seem unwilling to sell now, but 1999-born Porto winger Dalot is another option. He has a release clause of €20m, which Napoli consider high. Meanwhile, Napoli continue to make contacts for Grimaldo from Benfica, but only if Ghoulam leaves. And after completing deals for Ciciretti and Younes, the transfer of Chievo's Roberto Inglese is on stand-by, as Milik may return from injury sooner than expected, as on 15 January he will be evaluated for his ability to progress towards returning to the team.
