Arkadiusz Milik appeared in good spirits at the presentation of Napoli’s new calendar, a tradition which has reached its tenth year. At the press conference, the Polish striker spoke about a variety topics.
On his return: “I have a lot of desire to return to the pitch, and after seeing the draw, I have even more. I do not know if things will be difference once I am made available, but I hope that the positive environment that currently exists does not change. I am doing well now as I can train and run without problems. But I must wait for approval from the medical staff. I will return when they say I can.”
On Mertens: “I like him a lot even as a center forward. We are good friends, but I hope that when I return he moves back to the left wing (laughs). I had fun making the calendar. It was the first time I have done something like this, and it was a good experience.”
In conclusion the striker stated, “I want to thank all of the fans for the many messages of support that have come from social media. I hear from Sarri each day; I am very happy to be at Napoli. With regard to the European U21 with Poland, it is still early to know if I will participate. I will return in a few months, but the end of the season is very far away.”
