The Napoli directors and Gennaro Gattuso are spending the day in Capri. President De Laurentiis, his son Eduardo, and director of sport Giuntoli met with the manager to talk about his contract that will expire next year. There is a cordial relationship between the parties, therefore, they have decided there is no rush to make a decision and they will postpone talks for a later time.
The sides had the opportunity to discuss the results obtained this season as well as the transfer market. This evening, they will all eat dinner together but there will be no talk of Gattuso's contract. There is no friction as the intention is to not be bound by long contracts and to adjourn the discussion for the coming weeks.
