After a slow start with Napoli, Mexican winger Hirving Lozano's adjustement process to Serie A could be hindered by an injury. The former PSV player was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher during the game between Mexico and Panama. After picking up several knocks during the match, Lozano had to waive a white flag following an ankle injury in the 64th minute.
Lozano left the stadium visibly limping but didn't give any comment about his injury. Mexico coach Martino discussed the matter stating that they "don't know how bad the injury is yet, we hope it's nothing more than just a knock". The player, who will undergo medical tests to assess the injury, was expected to return to Napoli on Thursday, however his presence for the Verona game on Saturday is a doubt.
