Napoli has singled out Matias Vecino to reinforce their midfield. The Azzurri are negotiating with Inter and with the player's agent. The Uruguayan has already given signalled his willingness to move and the contacts are ongoing. The basis for the deal could be a loan with an option to buy, which would become an obligation after a certain numbers of appearances. They are discussing the fee for the option to buy: Inter are asking for 18 million euros, while Napoli want to spend less. Vecino is currently injured but should return in two months and he is well-liked by Gattuso. It would be a cost-free option as Napoli have to replace Allan, who moved to Everton. A loan move would allow Napoli to evaluate the player before deciding whether or not to proceed with the purchase.
