After bringing in Milik and Zielinski in the past years, Napoli could add another Pole to their squad. The Azzurri are in fact interested in Legia Warsaw's full-back Michal Karbownik, born in 2001 and eyed by many European clubs.
At the moment, Napoli are the most interested among the Serie A clubs, to the point that they have already held discussions with the parties involved. A deal, however, is not considered an immediate priority for Napoli but they could consider stepping up their interest in the future. As Napoli's sporting director Giuntoli confirmed to Sky Sport, the club will prioritise the contract extensions of some of their players, then to possible outgoings, and then to new signings.
Napoli will evaluate the positions of Mario Rui and Ghoulam at the club. The Portuguese become an important player for the partenopei this season, while the former Saint Etienne left-back has recently returned to Gattuso's squad. The last few games of the season will contribute to the evaluation of the left-back situation and will also give the opportunity to watch Karbownik more closely in his next few appearances.
