Sofyan Amrabat could be one of the protagonists of the last few days of the transfer window.
The Moroccan midfielder, who was also a target of Atalanta before the deal fell through, is now in the radar of Napoli. The Partenopei, who had been in talks to sign him before he joined Fiorentina, have held initial contacts with the Viola for the former Hellas Verona midfielder.
As reported by Matteo Moretto, Napoli are looking to bring in Amrabat as a reinforcement for Spalletti's midfield, however they will have to persuade Fiorentina's owner Rocco Commisso to give the greenlight to sell the player, for whom the Viola have set a significant asking price.
In the past few days, Atalanta had tried to inquire about a potential deal for the Moroccan after that Sampdoria turned down their offer for Morten Thorsby. Fiorentina however fended off Atalanta's interest as they want to keep Amrabat, as they invested a significant sum to acquire him in January 2020 (the player joined Fiorentina at the end of that season).
