Faouzi Ghoulam has begun the season as one of Napoli's best players, but unfortunately in the Champions League match against Manchester City he suffered a torn ACL and will now miss significant time. Today he underwent surgery, and Napoli released an official statement on their website:
"Faouzi Ghoulam was operated on this morning by Dr. Mariani at Villa Stuart in Rome for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The surgery went perfectly well. Ghoulam will not return to work with the group for at least 90 days."
