Napoli are preparing for their last friendly game ahead of the new Serie A season versus Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, but in the meantime, the team is active on the transfer market as well. They are evaluating the future of midfielder Alberto Grassi (class of '95); he may not fit into Sarri's plans for next season, and many teams are after him: Sampdoria, Chievo, Atalanta, and most recently, Pescara are following the player.
Napoli are focused on completing a deal for Croatian starlet Marko Rog, and the contacts are continuing with his current club, Dynamo Zagreb. For tax reasons relative to Croatian clubs, the deal could end up being a loan with a mandatory option to buy at 13 million euros plus bonuses, with Napoli paying for the player over a 2-year term. There is optimism for the deal, as few details have to be sorted out between the teams.
Diawara is also a player high on Napoli's list: he is a player that the azzurri want to give to Sarri in addition to their recent transfer moves. Regarding the Lorenzo Insigne contract situation, there have been more contacts between the club and the player's entourage. In the next few days, the contract details could be finalized and proposed to his agent. Between renewal talks, new arrivals and departures, the transfer market of Napoli keeps on moving.
