Napoli are focused on the full back position at the moment. The negotiation for Stefan Lainer has stalled and there continue to be concerns about Sabaly’s condition while an agreement with Bordeaux has yet to be reached.
At the moment the likeliest to arrive is Santiago Arias. An agreement with PSV is closer on the basis of €11.5 million plus bonuses, but the negotiation has yet to be concluded since Napoli need to free up a non EU slot and there’s still competition from Valencia. In the meantime, Arias has agreed to join Napoli and would sign a five year contract.
