Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has been known for speaking his mind, and in a recent interview on Corriere dello Sport he didn’t resort to cliches when asked the stadium situaion:”The San Paolo? For me it’s a nightmare, it’s a net negative and it hurts me internationally to have a facility like that. So enough is enough: I’ll stop the drama and build my own stadium. How much time will be needed? Two years. In the meantime? I have asked UEFA for permission to play our Champions League matches in Bari, even if it means paying for 1000 buses to allow Neapolitans to watch the matches at the San Nicola”
De Laurentiis was also asked about his former manager:”I don’t want to respond to Sarri. He said some things that make no sense, but I don’t want to respond because if not it will turn into a soap opera with ugly tones that no one will be interested in. I’m happy with Ancelotti and I haven’t heard from Sarri since our last match. Since then zero contacts”
