Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis spoke about the upcoming transfer window and possible changes for his team during the European Clubs Association's assembly. "The summer is very long and we are the only team not to have a complete turnover internally. Ancelotti will be with us for another two years, and before we buy we need to think about selling. We already bought Di Lorenzo, we have lots of attackers and we need to decide who to sell. We already bought the right fullback, now we need an attacker and a a left fullback but only if our current ones do leave."
De Laurentiis also commented on the possible reform of the European competitions: "My suggestion was that they should not divide the Champions League into stages, it's mortifying. There are five nations that are above all the rest, we would make two Champions Leagues: one with England, Italy, Germany, Spain, and France, and one with the other countries. Already the Champions League and Europa League are mortifying for many teams."
