Napoli, De Laurentiis: “Marotta told me they would not pay the release clause, they can’t do this. Higuain? I haven’t talked to him yet”

Aurelio De Laurentiis today spoke about the possibility of Gonzalo Higuain moving to Juventus : " There hasn't been contacts between Juve and Napoli. Juventus have told me that they do not want to pay the clause, and we never asked them too. Higuain signed a five year deal, three years have now passed. There is a clause in his contract that teams have to pay if they want him (before his deal expires). If the club pays it and Higuain is happy to go there, then we have to please his will. Nobody has made me an offer for Higuain. Will this change? Maybe, but Juventus are a smart club they know that they can't do this, it would be an injustice. They would lose respect and it wouldn't be well viewed. Higuain never spoke on the matter ....

Nicolas Higuain? We don't speak with agents, we speak to the player and Gonzalo is on vacations. He will arrive here on the 25th. Juventus are serious, they would not try and cause trouble.

Marotta? I told him do you want to pay and he said he wasn't thinking about it. Pereyra? No. Zaza? We have a lot of players in our roster already" .
