Napoli and Salzburg's negotiations for Lainer have hit a difficult patch in the past few days. Napoli are offering €15m including add-ons for the fullback, but the asking price for the player's rights is €20m: Salzburg has not found a replacement and so at this moment do not intend to sell Lainer. There are complications at work in the deal.
Meanwhile, Fabian Ruiz is set to undergo medicals with Napoli in the coming days (they will likely take place in Spain), and his arrival from Betis will be made official after the sale of Jorginho to Man City (down to the final details) is completed.
