Two days before facing his former club Paris St Germain, Carlo Ancelotti gave an interview to France Football about his Napoli:”This is a different Napoli, we don’t have Maradona but we are building a real team of a high caliber, especially with young players. The team has been playing well for a few years so the quality is there. I’ll try to bring a bit of experience and try to help the team have personality and courage in the moments they don’t play as well”
Ancelotti was also asked about Ronaldo’s impact on Serie A:”His arrival is a great signal for the image of the league. For a long time Italy was the home of all the stars: Maradona, Zico, Platini, Zidane, Ronaldo, Shevchenko, Kaka’, Ibrahimovic. It hasn’t been this way as much in past ten years. Ronaldo’s arrival will bring back prestige, he’s a great professional, his only mistake was going to Juve”
