Raul Albiol has had a successful left knee surgery today. The operation had to be done to allow him full recovery (he should return to squad in 6 to 8 weeks). The club has published a note stating the intervention went well:
"Raul Albiol has had a patellar tendon of the left knee intervention this morning at the Princess Grace Hospital of London. The intervention went perfectly well. The recuperation time will be estimated in the coming days".
