After the big win against Torino, the club managed by their former manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, there is a lot of enthusiasm surrounding Sampdoria. Today the club organized an event at the Sampdoria Point in Genova which was attended by Luis Muriel who had this to say:"We are showing so much, I continuously say that when we play at Marassi we have the feeling that we can beat everyone, the match on Sunday (against Lazio) will be difficult but this Samp can do so much and will continue to do so" The Colombian striker was asked about the transfer rumors since the January transfer window is around the corner:"Can the fans stay serene? Yes, I'm only focused on Sampdoria and what I can do here in Genova. The relationship with fans is growing so much and I want to continue doing well here and then we'll see"
