Monaco, Pellegri set to have surgery to his groin: the situation

Monaco will be without Pietro Pellegri for the next six weeks. The former Genoa striker will in fact have surgery to his groin to address the sports hernia issue that effected him recently, Monaco decided to go with the surgery route to treat the condition which is standard procedure in France. A statement was issued to announce the decision, it also indicated a recuperation time of six weeks- the surgery will take place tomorrow so Pellegri can be fully recovered especially with an eye towards next season.
