Discussions and contacts kept happening throughout the entirety of the day as Gerard Deulofeu remains an important target for Milan. A turning point has happened which may change everything: Everton have shown their willingness to close the deal on a loan with option to buy, as opposed to the obligation to buy they previously pushed for.
This change in negotiations can now give Milan added hope. The next step is to agree on the right sums for this loan with Everton. Another important part of this will see how Barcelona feels about everything, as they own the right to buy back Deulofeu in the future. However, this last obstacle appears to be the less significant one.
